Westgate Medicentres Family Care Clinics

On entering I was greeted politely, my info was taken and I was asked to take a seat. I had made an appointment however I was kept waiting for almost an hour. I don't blame the doctor or staff as I seen it time and again, patients will go in, talk about multiple issues resulting in other patients being kept waiting. Today I saw Dr. Kang. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his personality. If I didn't have a family doctor, I would certainly consider him. He told me he works out of the clinic 4 or so days a week. The rest of the time he is a military doctor (respect). Total time addressing why I was there, received a requisition and exciting the facility, 15 mins. Thank you.

Terrible experience. Saw Dr. A Mohamed for a sinus infection that I regularly get 2 times per year. He asked questions but never allowed me to speak, seemed rushed to get me out, his physical assessment was a zero, and then I was told I have never had a sinus infection.…only allergies. Colors of dark thick green and goopy yellow has been pouring out of my nose and throat for over 5days. Sinusitis is a sinus infection!! Continuing to suffer for an additional 3-4 days after my visit with Dr. Mohamed with sinus pain and pressure before I can get in to see my family Dr. is not acceptable. I prefer to never see this Dr.again. Front staff were great though!

I went there for the first time on Thursday Feb 19 for a sore left eye. I barely had to wait 2 minutes and saw Dr Mark Kang. He is very nice and gave me a complete check of my left eye with a proper diagnosis. He gave me a prescription for eye drops to use for a week and the eye is getting better. This is the best Medicentre that I have been in and is 5 minutes from where I live and the parking is great. Lots of it. It is better that the 156 street one that never seems open when you need it . I would recommend this Medicentre to anyone based on my personal experience there.

this medicentre has been very kind and accommodating to me for my workplace injury and overall health. the aides, especially maged and the black woman who's name i believe is precious but i'm not entirely sure, as well as the doctor i was seeing have never make me feel like im taking too long to get better which is refreshing. and the receptionists have always been very kind and polite with me both over the phone and in person, and have been helpful in the past when i have either been running late for my appointment or had to reschedule due to medical reasons. the waits can sometimes be long, depending on the number of appointments, but that's to be expected in the current state of our healthcare system, but i don't mind it.

I was completely satisied with my experience at the Westend Medi Centre. The front desk personnel were polite and courteous. Dr. Erickson was very thorough and very competent. I was in and out in less than 45 min. I would definitely recommend this clinic..10 stars.
