The best medical experiences I’ve ever had have been at northeast urgent care. Every time I’ve been there, every single doctor, nurse, and/or nurse practitioner has been thorough, empathetic, and gone above beyond to make sure I’m cared for. I’d travel across the city specifically to come here if I needed to. Thank you to everyone who works here. You’re amazing.

They didn’t bother to see me and directed me straight to the ER while waiting for the clock to hit closing time. The nurse called me in, asked for my issue, then immediately told me to go to the ER because this facility was “at capacity” despite both nurses sitting at reception doing nothing and helping no one waiting. Lazy staff. What is the point of these facilities in alleviating emergency room wait times when you don’t bother to do your job. Funding for these centres needs to be cut if this is the level of care to be expected.

I just want to say thank you to all the staff that helped me the day I went to the clinic for the flu. The receptionists were incredibly professional and empathetic. The triage nurse was experienced and compassionate as well. Finally, the doctor was informative and tried to reassure me as much as he could. He also provided me some sample items to take home to help remedy the flu. I was also surprised to get a follow up from another doctor from the clinic regarding my swab results. She took time to ask how I am doing and further provided words of encouragement. I can't thank the team enough!

Please note, it’s walk-in only and they see patients based on the most urgent medical need. There are no appointments. As such, be prepared to wait a while. You’ll see people walk in and get calls almost immediately while you’ve been waiting hours. I waited 3 hours in the reception area, then I was called into a small clinic room, where I waited another 45+ minutes for a medical professional to finally come into the room. My advice is get there when thy open at 8am, although once again, medical condition determines urgency. They do the best they can. The staff are good and friendly.

Today, I arrived at 8 AM, and the receptionist was exceptionally polite and courteous. The nurse was amazing; she noticed I was experiencing breathing difficulties and did an excellent job of getting me in to see Dr. Martin. At that point, the doctor initiated a treatment plan, ranging from in-office care to X-rays, making my overall visit quite prompt. The staff here efficiently handled my urgent care needs, and I sincerely appreciate all of your hard work. Sometimes, patience is necessary as wait times can be extended, but without these medical facilities, the wait times at hospitals and doctors' offices would undoubtedly be more challenging.
