St. James Street Medical Clinic

I find this one of the best places to do your blood work. You don't have to be there more than 15 minutes. I come here all the time because going to St. Mary's medical clinic you can be there for an hour which I will not do! Too many people squeezing together in the small room.

This is place is the worst! 1 star is far too much. The doctors are the pits! Wont see you if you have a cold. Rush you out. The head woman (I think) is a cranky old thing who needs to retire. There is a very old woman Dr. that should retire...as I was waiting I heard the front staff being treated horribly by upper mgmt./Drs. Not professional at all...patients are unwell and don't want to hear that. No one does. Front staff/girls behind the counter seem to be friendly and nice and seem to be having a good time for the most part.....wait is ridiculous. I wouldn't go back. So many better walk-in options out there!!

I have been going to this clinic since I was a child. My latest visit was with Dr. Connor. He was professional and very caring about my situation. I felt heard and validated. One of the best clinics in Winnipeg in my opinion. I have been a patient off and on for 30 years and have never been disappointed.

This clinic is usually open on weekends and has availability. It’s great for kids with quick skin issues for antibiotic cream or pink eye. The doctors are good enough for quick antibiotics. They are so many people no one is nice or anything. They still have paper files.

So I get there and the receptionist asks me to sign in and I do as so. And then about 35 minutes after I asked her what approximately would be my waiting time, and then she said I needed all these documents after waiting for over 30 mins and when she was talking to me she was very dismissive and rude. The walk in doctor also rushed me through my appointment, was not hearing me out and just came up with a random diagnosis which lended me into the urgent care
