K-W Urgent Care Clinic

This clinic seriously needs to improve staff attitude and professionalism. I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. The staff and nurse were unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. I felt ignored and spoken to in an unhelpful and dismissive manner, which made the visit stressful and uncomfortable. As a patient, I expected empathy, clear communication, and respectful behavior, but unfortunately that was not my experience. The nurse did not explain procedures properly, and the overall attitude of the staff felt rushed and careless. I hope the clinic takes patient feedback seriously and improves staff training, communication, and professionalism. Patient care should always come first…

Went on family day. They opened at 8am arrived at 830am. There was 2 people infront . Didn't even bave to take a ticket thats how dead it was. They took us right back to a room. After 15 min nurse took daughters temp , weight and blood pressure . We waited 3.5 hours to see the doctor. That is how long it took. The doctor came in checked my daughters ears said he would write a prescription for antibiotic for ear infection . Then we waited another 40 minutes to get the prescription. We even asked the staff what was taking so long and they kept saying yes its coming please wait. It would have been faster going to the emergency room. Honestly the worst clinic in the waterloo region 100% . Sadly only choice on a holiday .

I had a positive urgent care experience. My wait time in both the waiting area and room were quick. The doctor was professional and provided excellent treatment. The waiting room filled up after my visit. Perhaps timing was key. It also has an on-site pharmacy and xray/ultrasound attached.

I was in and out with a prescription in 20 minutes. Went today (Tuesday at 1:45) Dr Charkow is amazing! Great doctor. The nurse I had was also super sweet and funny.

Very rude reception staff — they have no sense of how to speak to patients. Especially that old lady in black dress. It’s been 2 weeks since my wife had her blood test done due to pregnancy, but we still haven’t received the report. We called several times with no response, so we finally visited in person. We politely asked if they could just confirm whether the reports had arrived, so we’d know whether to wait or not. Instead, the staff member responded very rudely and told us to take a ticket and wait. So frustrating
