Reception lady was nice, but my god the service was awful. My partner and I went for a consultation, and the supposed doctor didn't even perform any sort of examination, but instead asked the same questions on the questionnaire, and spent most of the appointment time outside to write a prescription. Maybe I was just naive, but I thought clinics has standards, and I thought doctors are more qualified. Absolute disappoinment, did not address our health concern whatsoever. It just feels like its a cash grab.

I have had great experiences at this clinic over the years with their services and had another positive experience based on service again today with my daughter. They were busy upon arriving after 5pm and we were advised that we may not get to be seen today by the Doctor due to the closing time (6pm) approaching but they would do their best and ended up staying late to address the issue with my daughter’s injury. At no point were we rushed and it appeared they completely stuck to process the whole time as prior to the doctor arriving we did see the nurse first and went over the issues. I would continue to go here and recommend anyone requiring medical appointment or walk in assistance to consider Fort York Medical Clinic. I also use the pharmacy and have great experiences here.

This is probably the worst doctor’s office I’ve ever been to. I thought it would be convenient since it’s in the neighborhood, but it was nothing but problems. I went in because I had a bump on the back of my neck and wanted either a diagnosis or a referral to a specialist, hoping it wasn't cushings disease. The doctor said he would send me for blood and cortisol test. I got the prescription, went to the lab, completed the tests, and came back a few days later for a follow-up — only to learn they never ordered the cortisol test at all, which was the reason i went. The prescription didn’t match what the test center ran. And when I returned, they tried to charge me again for a new prescription even though it was their mistake. They finally sent me for the correct hormone testing and they told me my levels were “very alarming” and even advised me to go to the emergency room because my cortisol was supposedly extremely out of range. I didn’t feel any different than usual, so it didn’t make sense. I was fast-tracked to an endocrinologist who immediately told me the doctor had read the results incorrectly. Absolute clowns.

This clinic kept emailing me over and over again to schedule an appt saying they had lots of availability. I ended up booking a Pap smear for a Saturday as those days I don’t work. They then called me a couple days before saying there was a mistake on their scheduling system and they don’t do Pap smears on the weekend and had to do it on specific week days during a certain time frame. I ended up taking off 2 hours from work to leave enough time to travel, wait, have the appt and head home. I was still not seen within 30 mins. I should have trusted my gut about the reviews of this clinic and not scheduled my appt. Now I’m out $35 in Ubers, loss of work time and no Pap smear completed.

Honestly, I don’t think this is actually a doctor that I saw. Clinic opened at 10 and my appointment was at 10:15 and the so called doctor was just walking in. Also two other people had 10:15 appointments and then they took the walk-in first. The 10:15 appointments didn’t see the doctors until 11: 35. The person who came had an appointment at 10 didn’t see the doctor till 1045 and then he was left in the room for 20 minutes while the doctor left and we were all confused as they don’t communicate. Receptionist came in at 11. It’s not soundproof so you could hear everything fyi. They couldn’t diagnose anything and took a test and said they’ll get back to me in a few days. Doctor just left the room after looking at me and a few questions and left me until I went out to ask what was happening and the receptionist was rude and I just explained that nothing was communicated before the doctor left and I didn’t know what was going on and then all of a sudden the doctor jumped back in. Asked what my next steps and if I could do anything for my problem and they just said no you have to wait for the tests to come back which would take a few days and wouldn’t/couldn’t explain next steps on how I would get the results. Gave me a prescription after begging for some sort of temporary solution and wanted me to fill it at their pharmacy which seems like a scam. Would never come back if I didn’t have to get my results…may still go somewhere else as I don’t think they can diagnose correctly. Update: Went to another walk in clinic after the pharmacy told me I should and the clinic prescribed me right away, explained to me the issue in detail and I was in and out in 15 mins. Don’t go here!!!
