5 months agoI had the pleasure of visiting this clinic yesterday for a walk in appointment. I called before hand to check they were accepting walk in appointments, and the clinic staff were very polite on the phone and I came in right away. I was greeted by the staff immediately, despite it being reasonably busy and I wanted to mention I was impressed with the way I was spoken with by the student (I believe from Abes College). She was discreet in asking about my issue, and the staff member guiding her did so with skill. I was seen by Dr. Haddow who took a thorough history of my issue, examined me and then talked me through what he was prescribing and why. It was honestly a great walk in experience, I felt listened to. I am grateful this service was ao accessible (I had tried to get in with my family doctor but no appointments available until next week). I would definitely return should I need to.

3 months agoAbsolutely insane experience. Went in with my fiance regarding her pregnancy. We were a walk in patient for the first time as our regular doctors office was closed. We have been to the doctors all week and have had no issues we were in the process of checking in when the receptionist said my fiances health care number had expired and that we would have to pay for the visit. Did no explanations as to why it wasnt working. We ended up going to another clinic and had no issues.

3 months agoI want to start by saying this clinic has always been such a great clinic in my experience, however, i want to give some feedback on a somewhat negative experience. The dr and staff were kind as always however, I want to inform the staff and dr of a mishap that was overlooked and quite serious. I brought my son in om the 16 with a high fever day 4 and was told he had some pneumonia from the sounds of it. And the nurse read an oxygen level of 86 on my 3 yr old. The dr said not to worry about it as it can be incorrect at times. I felt uneazy and went to the hospital right away with him . He was urgently admitted and had a hospital stay of 6 days. His oxygen was not able to be held over 85 on his own for 6 days. He had RSV, Influenza A and pneumonia. My son should have been transported by ambulance right away from the clinic and that oxygen reading should have been taken more seriously. I just want to let the staff know wether it could be an incorrect reading or not on a toddler its better to be safe than sorry. Because i could have gone home with my toddler having dangerous oxygen levels and me being non the wiser had it not been for my gut feeling.

6 months agodr. Haddaw is amazing. front desk lady “sara” has terrible front medical desk etiquette. had to ask so many questions to get answers on when the doctor would be back in office and on the phone with her was even worse, low voice, short responses, and a push-off overall to my concerns and issue. Rapport definitely needs to be learned. Dr. Greg was unable to give me a functional verbal description of a diagnosis. better to just book appointments instead of walk-ins to see dr. haddaw he’s an angel. my visits with dr. Haddaw remained professional, welcoming, meaningful and comfortable. will be back to see Dr. Haddaw in the future

6 months agoI am giving the clinic 2 stars for the front staff. They were kind, caring and accommodating. Answering questions/frustrations from other families with respect and understanding. Clinic was busy (as most are) and full of sick kids and babies. When we were brought back to the room after a 2 hr wait (which isn’t the complaint) my daughter and I noticed that the computer in the room had a patients chart open. All their information out for anyone to see!! A clear violation of the Health Information Act! Our doctor then came in the room after seeing another pt and was already donning a face mask and gloves. Those gloves were not new and never changed, he was then in and out of our room, touching everything and never completing any hand hygiene. Thankfully his assessment didn’t actually include touching my daughter…or I would have insisted he stop, wash his hands and change the gloves! My daughter required abx and he came in with 3 options and asked what we wanted….luckily I’m a nurse and I knew all three and was able to make a decision based off of knowledge, but what if I hadn’t been? Isn’t he supposed to be the doctor and tell the pt and family what is needed?! Aside from the great front staff, our experience left us feeling both potentially vulnerable (not knowing how our personal information was being handled) and grossed out (lack of hand washing/donning and doffing of fresh PPE *as he so felt was needed)
