Esquimalt Urgent and Primary Care Centre

I dont like many people have a Dr and have been going to this clinic for a few years and they have taken great care of me. The front staff are efficient and very friendly and the Drs I've seen are very good at what they do and care about the people they see. Thank you Primary Care for taking such good care of me

Saw Dr Matthew Westamark and he was excellent. Diagnosed the issue quickly, personably. He was thorough and attentive. Experience from the dial in to same day appointment was very positive

Does a receptionist have the power to deny a Canadian medical assistance to see a doctor? Yes, they can. Sadly. August 1st, I called and was single digit waiting in the que. I talked a bit about my situation, my fall off a step ladder backwards at work and these forms that needs a doctor to sign for light duties needed or not. She didn't book me to see a doctor but put me on a waiting list for an appointment for my forms. I again, expressed my arm and knee isn't feeling right and really need a doctor to look me over. No help available to see a doctor. I am not seeking drugs or a way not to work but referrals to others that may help me more. Find out why I am still hurting as bad as I am. I am 49... But still. 😂 Something is seriously wrong. August 6, 2025, I was 9th in the que. I asked again to see a doctor and still she wouldn't give me a booking. I asked if she could find out what place am I for my call back appointment time to have my medical forms for WCB, Jim Pattinson Food Group and my employers. I just got as a response, they will call you when they can. I get it. My forms not a big priority to them. They are to WCB, Jim Pattinson Food Group and my employers. Then she placed me back in the que for another Urgent Care location but I was 9th! Lol. I sadly was not able that day to get in at the other place because of my place in the que. It is now August 10th. Still feeling some bad pains but I am used to it. Lol. Let's hope this week of August 11 to the 15th brings a miracle and I get called for my appointment to at least have my forms filled out. When my left side of my body was injured due to horrible outcomes by surgeries, they took me in and help me in so many ways and assisted with every important aspect of my life and my care. What did I do? I have asked three times and nothing. I get doctor's are a rare commodity but is respect also a rare commodity?

I had a great experience at this clinic. Kind and helpful reception staff. I was seen promptly by a young doctor (cannot remember her name!) and received excellent care. Thank you!

I called to speak to a doctor for my test results and the receptionist at the front desk told me uh no was SO rude not helpful at all and told me to have patience and when i asked her for her to look into my test results not even she could help me NOT good customer service at all. Giving attitude and rude for no reason.
