KWIC Walk-In Clinic | Manitou Drive

I had a great experience at the KWIC Walk-In Clinic today. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. The doctor was professional, attentive, and took the time to assess my left hand injury properly. I needed a doctor's note for my employer, and they processed it quickly without any hassle. There was no long queue, and I didn’t have to wait much, which was a big plus. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic for its excellent service and efficiency!

My very first visit to this clinic was today. Except for the warmth and nurturing spirit of the nurse/receptionist I find it difficult to say anything positive about the female doctor I saw. When I mentioned more than one symptom, she looked perplexed and confused, so I tried to simply it for her by letting her know the lab tests I needed. I walked out in dismay, leaving the requisition behind. It is not a good place to visit. Yet, when the clinic first opened in the summer months last year, I was actually looking forward to going there. In today's society, doctors do not diagnose diseases or interpret symptoms. They only write prescriptions for meds because it takes time to diagnose properly.

I had my first meet-and-greet appointment at this medical clinic. After waiting for about 1 hour and 20 minutes past my scheduled time, I was finally taken inside to see the doctor. I had taken half a day off from work specifically to attend this appointment, which made the delay quite inconvenient. I hope the clinic can improve their scheduling and punctuality to better serve patients in the future.

I recently made an appointment at this clinic for a check-up. However, my experience has been less than ideal. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, and it’s now been over an hour past my appointment time, and I’m still waiting to be seen by the doctor. As a parent of two toddlers, waiting for such an extended period is not only frustrating but also challenging. Managing two young children in a clinic waiting room for this long is not easy, and there’s been no communication or updates about delays. While I understand that sometimes delays happen, it’s important for clinics to keep patients informed, especially when there are young children involved. The staff was polite, but the lack of respect for the scheduled time is disappointing. I hope the clinic can improve on punctuality and communication, especially for families with small children who already have a lot to juggle.

I booked a virtual appointment as instructed and showed up at the scheduled time. I waited for over an hour, but no one joined the call. I then called the clinic several times and could not get through. There was also no option to reply to the original email. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Patients should not be left waiting without communication, nor should it be this difficult to reach your team for support. If I could give them a 0 star I would I expect someone from your office to contact me directly to resolve this matter. Clear and timely communication needs to be a priority.
