ELEVATE X BULLS
3 months agohad a very disappointing experience with the receptionist at Onyx Clinic. She was extremely rude and unwelcoming, and her tone made it feel as though patients were an inconvenience rather than people seeking care. Everyone who visits a clinic is already dealing with health concerns and stress, and being treated disrespectfully only makes the experience worse. A receptionist is often the first point of contact, and basic politeness and empathy are essential in a healthcare setting. I strongly feel this needs to be addressed to ensure patients are treated with respect and courtesy. Doctors are good but receptionist is rude.

3 months agoI would prefer that the details for my visit not be asked or discussed aloud where other patients can hear. If this information is necessary during intake, I would recommend a patient be asked in a closed door room or electronic/digital intake. I would prefer that questions about pap smears or menstrual history be addressed by the clinician rather than at reception. Overall, I would prefer greater discretion to protect confidentiality.

2 months agoCame Friday night at 6. Waited 30 minutes and it was still not open. Website says 6-9 weekdays, answering machine as well. No notices on door or windows. Need to do better.

6 months agoAttended here today, the wait times weren’t too bad, the nurse was very sweet and the doctor (although rushed - but to be expected) was gentle, friendly and helpful. However, as the other comments indicated, the receptionists are just plain rude. I get that people can have a bad day but judging from the amount of comments that attest to the same thing, it may just be the way she is! No eye contact, barks demands at you, and treats you like a nuisance… what a shame to the entire clinic!

4 months agoGreat location, very close to my home, and their operating hours are excellent. They’re convenient for any working professional with a 9–5 schedule, allowing you to visit without rushing or stressing. However, the quality of recent diagnoses has been concerning. My cousin went in with severe ear pain, and the doctor she saw (we’re not sure who) simply prescribed a sinus spray and sent her home. Her condition didn’t improve. She then visited a different doctor, who correctly diagnosed an ear infection and prescribed ear drops. Within just one day, she improved by about 70%. Diagnosing something this basic should be second nature for medical professionals who undergo years of rigorous training. Experiences like this make the care here feel careless, if not outright lazy.
