Hyde Park Care Walk-In Clinic

Went there today (Oct 1st 2025) for my daughter. Reception was very friendly and welcoming, the wait time wasn't too long (about an hour to be seen) The doctor who seen us was also friendly and informative. We felt very welcomed and if issues arise again we will absolutely be returning. Keep up the great spirit and work and thank you for not making patients feel bad for being there!

Very Disappointed – Would Give Zero Stars if Possible My experience with Dr. Benhabib Berna was extremely disappointing. She was rude, dismissive, and showed no interest in understanding why I came in. The moment I tried to explain my concerns, she cut me off with “hold on,” and once she finished whatever she was doing, she simply walked out of the room without listening to a single word from me. Her only comment was “one issue at a time,” even though she never allowed me to explain the first issue in the first place. I went to this clinic on behalf of my parents, and as someone who works full‑time, it’s already difficult to find time to visit a doctor. The attendant then told me to come back tomorrow for the other issue, which made no sense because the doctor didn’t even hear the situation during my visit. This level of disrespect and lack of basic communication is unacceptable. Patients deserve to be heard, not rushed out of the room. I left feeling frustrated, ignored, and completely dissatisfied with the care provided.

Maybe, the old-age receptionist receiving the application also seems to have immigrated from a certain country, but it seems to be treating foreigners too harshly and rudely. Both she and her family seem to probably be foreigners in Canada, they often will be treated like me in this strange land. Hopely, so I want her to help each other and treat each other kindly. Because we are all foreigners in Canada. Very very very terrible!!!!!!!!

I came to the clinic around 12 PM to get a doctor’s note and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The two receptionists at the front desk especially the lady wearing a hijab were extremely rude. The way they asked questions, their tone and even the eye rolling between them felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. I was genuinely confused as to why there was so much attitude for a simple request. If you can’t treat people kindly, healthcare might not be the right field. This was the first thing I did today and it honestly ruined my whole day. Very disappointing experience. Just need to add here that the doctor was nice and the waiting time was better than expected.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this hyde park walk-in clinic. I came here for a TB test, but I was charged $125 for every visit ($100 visit fee + $25 doctor fee). I had 4 visit here. For the TB test alone, I had to come four times, and each time I was charged the same amount. This means I paid a very high total cost just for a TB test, which is not affordable for international students. There was no clear explanation in advance about how many visits were required or how expensive it would be. I understand clinics need to charge fees, but this feels excessive and disappointing. I hope the clinic can be more transparent and considerate toward international students. $500 just for TB test.
