This walk-in clinic is located in a very convenient area. The receptionist is always friendly, efficient, and straightforward, which creates a great first impression. I’ve noticed that the clinic often has long waiting lines, but if you ask how long the wait will be, they always give you a clear answer — so you can leave and come back at the right time, which is very convenient. I’d like to highlight two doctors who are truly professional — one experienced Asian doctor and another younger doctor who works on weekends. Both are very attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Unfortunately, not all doctors are at the same level — two others seemed less attentive and their service quality was noticeably lower. Pros: friendly receptionist, two highly professional doctors. Cons: two doctors whose service quality could be improved.

I am writing this review after one of the most humiliating and discriminatory medical experiences I have ever had in Canada. I went to this walk-in clinic because I have been under significant stress from work and family issues, with recent sleep disturbance, appetite loss, diarrhea, and persistent allergy-related breathing discomfort. I called the clinic the day before, explained all my symptoms in detail, and was told to come in for an appointment today. When I arrived and met the doctor, the first thing he asked was: “What are your symptoms?” As a non-native English speaker, I didn’t fully understand the word “symptom,” so I politely asked him to clarify what he meant. Instead of explaining, he immediately questioned whether I was a student, what degree I had, and what major I studied. When I answered “arts,” he responded with condescension, implying that even with an arts degree I “should understand such a basic word,” and refused to give me a simple explanation. He even pulled up Google to show me the definition as if he was teaching a child. At that moment, I felt deeply insulted—not only due to the lack of basic medical courtesy, but because of the clear cultural and racial discrimination behind his tone. I have gone to many clinics and hospitals before. Even when I didn’t understand a medical term, doctors would always explain it patiently. I have never encountered a doctor who thought it was appropriate to belittle my education background when all I did was ask for clarification. Still, I forced myself to continue because I genuinely needed help. After I described all my symptoms again, he selectively focused only on the allergy-related nasal issue, glanced at my nose, declared “everything looks fine,” tossed me a sample nasal spray, and told me I could leave. When I asked again about my other symptoms, he simply said: “We can only address one issue per visit. Come back tomorrow.” It was clear he was using this policy as an excuse to avoid doing any real work. I later went to another clinic the same day, where the staff respectfully listened, explained everything clearly, prescribed appropriate medication, and even arranged a specialist referral. That is what proper medical care looks like. I fully understand the “one issue per visit” policy. But a policy cannot be used as a shield for an unprofessional and dismissive doctor who refuses to do his job, talks down to patients, and treats them with prejudice. The problem here is not the policy—the problem is the doctor’s attitude, lack of professionalism, and discriminatory behaviour. I strongly recommend that no one come to this clinic. I have already submitted a formal complaint to the appropriate authorities. If you care about your health—and your dignity—please go somewhere else. At least other clinics won’t try to “educate” you on the definition of “symptom” while refusing to actually treat you.

I don't know why the Google rating is so low, but I'm always satisfied with this clinic. The staff are friendly. Doctor Parvez is very professional and helpful. I have received a lot of help here and have had many health issues resolved.

This clinic is a scam! Stay away! I went in with a real injury and as I explained my injury to the doctor, he didn't seem interested to hear - (Young Indian dude named Devalia, chilling out at the reception counter with the girls there when I walked in, I thought he was a nurse at first). I asked if my injury would be a WSIB case, he just ignored it and didn't even look at my injury & just said he'll give me a doctor's note. So they dinged the government for a doctor's visit & dinged me for a useless $30 note. Happened so fast that it literally feels like a medical-note mill. This might be great for lazy TMU students who live nearby & don't finish their assignments on time or study for their exams but this ain't the place for legit situations. STAY AWAY.

Dr. Vikram Devalia acted so immature like a new hire.. Definitely not like. doctor by profession, just a college graduate throwing tantrums. when I tried sharing symptoms he said he can only check and listen one time and not even ready to listen to problems and symptoms I faced. Inspite of clear reports he said he doesn’t need to change anything and when I said I have consulted to other doctors and they said to change the medication then he said okay he will change. I mean I could’ve done that by myself If I had to tell him what to do. Better go to some professional than wasting time here.
