Herzl Urgent Care Center - GMF-R (ONLY WITH APPOINTMENTS-CALL 811 OPTION 3)

Definitely recommend! It was so quick and efficient. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. I was in triage within 10 minutes of arriving and the nurse who took vitals was extremely sweet natured,she was very nice to everyone. Not long after triage,I was called in to see the doctor. My particular issue required a specialist and they all communicated by phone which was genius because it omitted any extra waiting time or displacement. I have to say that everyone that I encountered were genuinely nice and friendly. I was in and put within an hour,they are very well organized. GREAT JOB!! Refreshing..

This urgent care center has gone downhill over the past ten years. Although the nurses are nice, the doctors there do not listen to the patient’s concerns or needs whatsoever. I find them to be very egocentric and un-helpful at all. 10 years ago it wasn’t like that at all. They were more “à l’écoute” back then and more empathetic of what you were going through. Not going back there again. Felt much worse leaving the doctor’s office than before my appointment.

The staff is great people. Receptionist, tirage nurse and doctor are very kind, empathetic and very helpful. The issue is that even if you arrive on time or before the scheduled appointment you have to wait for so long to get seen by the doctor +2h. I had an appointment at 5:20 and at 7pm not even the first patient (I guess they had an appointment at 5pm) was called out.

As usual, we used 811 to book an appointment and were directed to this clinic for the first time. After checking the online reviews and seeing only 2.4 stars, I was honestly worried. However, our experience turned out to be excellent from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed warmly by the reception staff even though we arrived 10 minutes early. Within 5 minutes, we were seen by the triage nurse, and shortly after, Dr. Laura called us in. She conducted a thorough and detailed assessment, took the time to listen carefully, and even consulted a second colleague for a second opinion to ensure accuracy. Her attention to detail and collaborative approach were truly reassuring. This was only the third time in all my years in Canada that I’ve left a clinic feeling 100% satisfied. Given our experience, I was left wondering why there were so many negative reviews. I strongly encourage everyone to leave honest and balanced reviews so the overall rating reflects the real quality of care provided. !

Genuinely good staff, nurses, and doctors all trying to do their best. I have been to this clinic half a dozen times, and every time I have been treated courteously, seen promptly (mostly), and provided quality care. Before I had my RAMQ, I paid out of pocket for what are the most affordable such appointments in the city. Favourite clinic in the city!
